# Which claims need a closer look?

Ask what a claim means before paying. For example, “registered” does not mean a medicine is approved. Use these questions to check the claim.

## Does “registered” mean approved?

No. The federal rule checked September 26, 2026 says neither registration nor a product listing counts as FDA approval.

The Food and Drug Administration regulates medicines in the US; its name is shortened to FDA.

A product-identifying number called a National Drug Code (NDC) does not prove FDA approval of that product.

BPC-157 has no FDA-approved medicine for any US use as of September 28, 2026.

## Does a purity certificate settle quality?

Most BPC-157 test certificates the FDA examined gave a purity figure: how much of the sample was BPC-157. They did not say how much unwanted material was allowed or found. This review was checked September 28, 2026.

For injections, that review also named tests for living germs, poisons from bacteria and stray particles as key safety checks. The poisons are called bacterial toxins. Testing for them is separate from testing for living germs.

A certificate of analysis reports test findings for a single batch. A batch is a group made together at one time. Ask which tests it includes and what they found about unwanted material.

## Can anyone call it free of side effects?

The FDA review checked September 28, 2026 found too little human safety information to describe BPC-157’s side effects reliably.

The studies were brief, small and unclear about how safety was tracked.

BPC-157 also lacks an FDA-reviewed label listing drug interactions or pregnancy information, as of September 28, 2026.

An interaction means the effect of combining medicines. Keep a list of what you already take for your conversation with the doctor.

## What if the seller allows only certain ways to pay?

The Federal Trade Commission is the US agency that protects consumers. Its warning covers sellers who accept only a bank transfer, wire transfer, payment app, gift card or cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency is a kind of online money.

Its alert checked September 26, 2026 treats these payment-only demands as a sign of a likely scam.

The warning includes a transfer from your bank account. It concerns a seller who makes these the only ways to pay.

Before paying, ask for the billing terms and keep the reply. If an answer dodges the question, pause the decision.
